If I in fact have Lyme & passed it to my baby before I realized what it was & started abx, what should I do?
We are going to see Dr. S. in PA on the 16th & my IGeneX should be back well before then.
I don't know if he has it (I don't know if I have it.) If I do, I suppose there's always the chance that I've had it for years, I guess one may never know. If he is 3 months old, would abx take care of it & prevent possible chronic Lyme?

Hey there m...
Children born with Lyme and/or coinfections are usually able to be treated. No one can say for sure how the treatment will work.. or if it will. There have been successfully treated cases.. so it appears.. however.. there is no test to let us know if all of the organisms have been killed off or not.
If you are going to Dr. S.. I am sure he will do his best to try and help you with your questions.
