My husband just got back from donating blood at a blood drive at the kids school.
One of the questions on the questionair was "Do you have/had Lyme Disease?" If you answered yes you can not donate blood.
This was not on the questionair last time he gave blood maybe six months ago.
I know it is crazy to get excited over this but I truely feel excited that this has made it to the questionair.
Does anyone know if it has made it to all blood donor questionairs or is it just down here in Louisiana?
By the way he has tested negative for Lyme (twice). We were worried about the thought of it being sexually transmitted that is why he was tested, he never had any symptoms.

That's great.
I'll have to ask my husband's brother (he gives blood very often) if it says that on the questionarres in PA.
