I would like to take a little xanax (generic)here and there and searched a few good sites on the drug interactions.
Nothing says it will interact with my art, biaxin or mepron.
Any second opinions or do you think it will be ok?

I took xanax with mepron and biaxon, and I never has a problem.

xanax is a life saver for many lyme sufferers. i read some posts on here that stated one person was able to walk even with the severity of her sx when she took a higher dose of xanax.
there is some connection w xanax, how the brain works, and all the tbds that has yet to be uncovered.
until then, happy dosing. be careful, its very addictive, hence its powerful anti lyme sx properties.

That explains why my brain gave up after I cold-turkeyed my Klonopin. Klonopin was neuroprotective. But I had to appease my doctors who were so concerned I was abusing it, insane, and really starving myself down to 88 lbs - "psychosomatic".
Sorry - I get sick every time I see a post on benzos. It reminds me of what they did to me - and not a single one is required to fix any of what happened.

I love your web page that you can enter drugs and check to see what interacts with what. I plugged in everything I am taking and oddly, the only thing that came up was in regards to taking Zith with mepron.
I know most of us take that combination when treating babs and the zith is to help with resistance, but they list that combo as weakening the zith. Probably doesn't matter.
But in another thread, I was warned that I shouldn't be taking doxy with mepron, but nothing came up on this page regarding these two. This is enough to make my head spin since it sounds that when treating lyme, all sorts of combinations are being tossed out there.

they tried to do the same thing w me.
i just happened to start taking them again when i felt much more ill.
and what do you know? i dont feel AS ill ON xanax, even low doses such as .50 during the day....
