Hello!

I am wondering if anyone out there has devotedly followed any of the following diet regimens, with Lyme alterations, with successs in supporting detoxification and immune improvement, and generally improvig their condition markedly:

macrobiotics

vegan raw foodism

Gerson Therapy

body ecology diet

Kelly protocol (it's for cancer, but makes an attempt to find ideal diet for an individual)

the work of Dr. Ron Schmid (not a lyme doc) a naturopath who follows Weston Price's dietary principles, raw foods, cultured veggies, raw dairy)

Dr. Larry Wilson (not a lyme doc--does nutritional balancing via hair mineral analysis)

Thanks for your help!

I follow the high alkaline low acid forming diet.

It works very well for me.

I follow the raw vegan diet, but not completely. I can do it on days when I have energy, but when I am totally out of it, I am unable to prepare foods, unless someone else makes them for me.

I also did it because I am gluten, dairy and soy intolerant. This was I feel like I am able to eat more foods in the raw world, than just the regular food world.

It doesn't really help with my symptoms too much, so that is why I am not a total fanatic about it.
