Been on Cowden for 7 months, but just saw LLMD Friday and due to chills and shaking decided to upgrade to Mepron from Malarone and add Zith and Septra. A few weeks ago I added Zhang's art also.

But of late, my symptoms have been getting progressively worse quickly. Notice a large purple/ reddish raised bump which hurts on my waist also a few weeks ago.

A couple of weekends ago my feet and hands hurt so bad I could barely walk.

The bone pain all over is excrutiating. Now getting it in my left shin and my hips. Always had it in my arm bones.

My face is so stiff and my eyes hurt terribly. A throbbing pain behind one and now both are getting blurry.

My lymph glands have pain in the arms and groin.

This all started (although I had these symptoms mildly coming and going) after taking Banderol last month on Cowdens. I read somewhere that Banderol could target Bart.

Wondering if it brought it out fulminant.

This morning I noticed stretch mark lines on my inner thighs. One of them goes all the way to my knee! Been wearing loose clothes for 3 days, so no marks from clothing.

I am daily getting so progressively worse, anxiety, can't sleep, that I fear I'll be dead by the end of the week. Heart Palps too.

LLMD gave me Mepron, Zith and Septra scripts, wondering if I should start the Zith today with Septra asap. Mepron won't be in till tomorrow.

LLMD wanted me to ramp up slowly, take Zith first, then one week later add Septra, but I am skeered that I need to act quickly.

I did do Avelox and Doxy for 4 months or so for Bart 2 years ago with some help.

Thinking I should call LLMD tomorrow and beg for Rifampin and IV Doxy since it seems that a lot of people seem to get this down with that.

I also had Septra thrown in the mix with others and it helped, but never got full resolution or at least functioning resolution.

I had IV Doxy many moons ago (maybe 7 years) and it got me over a hump to 95%. Did Test POS for Babs back then after many years of missing it.

Had this thing 17 years.

Chia,

Your marks sound like Bart. Both the purple nodule and the stretch marks.

I really have no other advice, but I feel your pain. I am in a bad spot too and fear that I am dying.

Praying for us all.

My husband said it looked like a boil. [Roll Eyes] and I totally forgot to show it to my LLMD. I did mention the feet incident and he said sounded suspicious Bart, hence the septra and Zith with Malarone.

I am suspecting that shaking sweats I had 2 months ago are actually BART. I read in Buhners book that it can do that thus complicating diagnoses.

Sounds exactly like bart stuff to me. It is pretty typical for one bacteria or virus to get knocked down by the abx. Then another one of the bacteria takes over.

Right now bart is playing hell with your body.
That is my opinion based on everything I've learned, studied and read on lyme & company including bart for the last several years.

Shin pain, sole of feet pain, swollen lymph nodes,

Strange marks like stretch marks?

Bartonella, bartonella, bartonella.

I took rifampin for that.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Geneal

Thanks Geneal!

Needed some positive reinforcement especially after having a rage this evening because my cat jumped on something she wasn't supposed to. (had her tested for Bart and it was neg, but I know that means nothing)

The strange thing is the stretch mark like rash disappeared somewhat. It was much more noticeable after taking a hot shower.

I am not sure my glands are swollen. They hurt though. I get these passing pains in them like they are shooting out little warriors.

I stopped Cowden yesterday malarone, and ART too since I am supposed to start Mepron, zith and septra and resume the art 5 days on and 3 days off.

I am going to call LLMD tomorrow and discuss Rifampin and possible IV doxy. Have not had that yet and I really think my main problems are Bart related and they are really bad.

I'm also going to go and find someone to draw my blood and send to Fry Labs. Have not done Fry yet.

I did see a LLMD in NJ who apparently specializes in Bart 15 months ago for a second opinion who told me he did not think I had it.

At first he said yes upon exam, but then after blood work came back he said no.

Oddly he said Bart is the easiest to test.

He said he suspected Babs. He also told me to find a physician who specializes in mold since I had a high titer to aspergillus.

He could not interpret the test.

My LLMD said the results just meant I had been exposed, not that I had aspergillus.

What a confusing mess for peeps like us.
