Hi Everyone, I just found out that one of my friends daughter was just diagnosed with lyme disease.
Her pediatrician put her on Amoxicillin 875 Mg twice a day for 4 weeks.
But, her Mother thinks that she has had lyme for 2 yrs. She has had horrible headaches and trouble concentrating. She went to a neuro and they couldn't find anything wrong with her.
I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some info so I can pass it along to her.
I did give my friend the name of this website and told her to join for help.
Thank you very much, Kirsten

Sorry, I've come up blank in NJ.
How old is your friend's daughter?
When I was last looking, my DD was under 8 years old & I think that was a MAJOR problem for me.
Now that I think of it, she's over 8 now so maybe I should give it another go-round.
I'd really like to know if anyone has found a good one too.

Thank you for responding AliG! Her daughter is 8 or 9.
The problem is how do they get treated correctly when they need to use their health insurence. I go to a Dr. in PA and we all know how expensive it is to treat lyme.
But, I am stressing to her that it is very important to treat this correctly.
