This makes me sound like such an idiot,

and I feel like one. I was eating a cookie(no

will power). I picked up a couple of crumbs from

my shirt and put them in my mouth. One was very

crunchy. I took it out, and it was a tick! A

dead one now. I ran and washed my mouth out

really good with mouthwash. But I'm still really

grossed out. I just hope the mouthwash washed

away any tick junk. Yuck, I'll never pick up

another crumb.

Yikes! CAn you get some antibiotics for it? If you don't

have an LLMD, I think you should definitely get one!

Up for others who know more than I do...

Hi lundeliz,

Well, that's one way to exact revenge. [Big Grin]

But seriously, are you taking antibiotics now? Or, are you about to begin?

Not every tick has Lyme, then again ...

seriously, get back on antibiotics if you are NOT on them! if you've made progress to date ... don't go back to where you once were!

sorry to hear this; we're laughing with you but seriously trying to protect you too! [group hug] [kiss]

Thanks everyone,

I'm on Zithromax and Malarone and doing well.

Sure hope that will take care of anything that

tick may have been carrying.

Hmmmm....

This could prompt a new research study. Can ticks spread Lyme disease by ingestion? Or near ingestion?

Hi!

You could ask your LLMD.

Congratulations on doing well!

Gross! I eat crumbs off my chest all the time. Never again will I do that! ha! If you are on anti, I wouldn't worry too much.
Let us know what the LLMD says.
