I just came down from a Vyvanse buzz that isn't supposed to happen except for the fact that it started right after i took rifampin. The drug was over metabolized and poof it felt like i was on exctasy. it was such a powerfully euphoric feeling that i could see how people could get addicted. without the rifampin i'm sure vyvanse is a nice boost to concentration and mood. \

Yes, that is what can happen. Rifampin can overmetabolize some drugs. It can make something super-concentrated and hit you all at once, or it can make it never leave your system. I get really confused when I try to figure it out.

My doctor told me not to start taking it until I contact every doctor that has prescribed me something to make sure everything is okay.

I am stressing out about this too, because I am on so many things! Agh!
