If I need to take Diflucan for 2-3 days for yeast, do I need to skip antibiotics?

Thanks,
Jen

No usually, unless your doctor prescribed it that way. It's not the norm, however.

Be sure you are taking lots of probiotics two to three hours away from the diflucan and ABX.

Can I take ABX and diflucan at the same time?

LLMD did tell me to stop ABX when I get yeast and take diflucan, but I am only on one ABX and I feel that I need to keep going.

My doc told me to not take nystatin with meds. I take 4 a day so it is hard to work. And have for months now. They think it may prevent biofilm also not just to treat yeast but to prevent it too.

How do you work the nystatin in? Can you take it with supplements?

I take ABX twice a day, probiotics twice a day, supplements once a day. After spreading at least a couple hours between all three of these, how could I work nystatin in?

Thanks,
Jen

It is just of concern if it is taken with the

antibiotics. Some it renders them less effective.

So wait at least an hour or so. Don't worry so much

about the supps. And if you do thyroid my doc

suggested 4 hours either way of any meds. So I take

it at 4am.

My LLMD said I should not take zithromax with either diflucan or intraconozole. I forget the reasoning behind it.......you may want to ask your LLMD about this particular mix, if you take Zithromax?

My ABX is Ceftin. When I was first prescribed the diflucan, I was taking Biaxin.
