Since my gall bladder removal (and a little before), it hurts A LOT to have a BM, and I'm getting some bleeding.
I don't know if it's because the stool is too hard or too large, but either way, it hurts. I'm almost afraid to go! Sometimes I feel constipated, then other times I have diahrrea
Do I need fiber? Dulcolax? A new gall bladder?!
I didn't have this problem before the gall bladder surgery, only a little because I was eating pepto bismol like candy so I was stuffed up.
I'm currently taking a bunch of supplements, and have just started Omnicef (didn't have much luck with the Biaxin).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to contact the doctor that did the surgery immediately. Blood in stool can be from internal bleeding which is very dangerous.
You don't need a new gallbladder, in fact, they don't do gallbladder transplants because it is not a necessary organ. Some people can't digest fat without the gallbladder though, in which case, you need to eat a low fat diet.

The blood isn't in the stool, I think my anus is scratched or cracked or some other painful thing.

I completely disagree that the gallbladder isn't "a necessary organ" But I agree you need to contact a doctor. It could be an internal hemroid (sp) but you should always get that checked anyways any time there is blood in stool.

Biotics has a product that can be used after gallbladder removal (beet based). They also have a product that helps a sluggish gallbladder. "Beta---" something. I don't have time right now to search for it -
The Lancet recently reported the use of one quart of pure apple juice for one week. After one full week of the apple juice one cup of olive oil was used just before going to bed. If someone has already had their gallbladder removed it is important that they be placed on a bile acid supplement with every meal they take. It is very difficult to wash greasy dishes without soap. Reader Barry Gordon's wife is allergic to apples so she took a differnt path from Edgar Casey's material and used castor oil packs on the gall bladder for 10 days which worked very well.

Is the blood bright red or dark? If its bright red, it could be a tiny hemorroid and when you strain, it causes it to bleed and you will see bright red when you wipe.
If its a darker red, it may be something more serious. I'm not a doctor of course but I've had these issues with hemorroids in the past when my poop was hard.

Try using Preparation H wipes after bowel movements rather than toilet paper. My husband has hemmorhoids and this is what his doctor recommended. It keeps them under control quite well.
I would also call the doctor.

Bright red, I'm pretty sure it's an internal hemmroid or a fissure. I will try the Prep H wipes, didn't even think of that. I'm also going to try a stool softener to keep it from getting so hard.
My doc is having me take Ox Bile, I've just ordered it.

sennokot-s is very gentle and helps with consitipation. start with 1 in pm then can go to am/pm and increase by 1 tab. at a time until you find what works
fiber--- bulks stool by drawing water from intestines...so if you dont have adequate hydration you make bricks, peroid. lots of dr's like fiber but having issues want to be more regular first.
hemmoroids- there is an rx with numbing agent and topicall anit-inflammatory. may help?
be mindful of diet !!!!! withhout gallbladder you will not digest fats properlly. eat smaller meals, snacks . bile is passed into intestines from liver as it is made- gallbladder is the reseviour for it to be stored, when u eat signal sent to empty bile.
so now, signal is still sent and liver will try to up production. so eat smaller , more freq.
stay away from high fat foods. period.
wrong diet after gb surj. can and will make ur life miserable. can also develop dumping syndrome (have to run to batrhroom every time you eat)

oh, and cold witch hazel to your bottom after BM helpful if prep H burns. the cold helps constict vessels as well. (less bleeding)
so if use prep h wipes,etc-- try to keep them in fridge if can .
