New Hampshire was able to overturn the bill of interium study which doesn't happen much in NH.
Then we put in our admendment to clean up loop holes that passed.
And then when the bill was put into motion.... WE WON 300 to 58. WE WON!
Next stop is Senate but considering we were told it wasn't even possible to get this far, we are all floating.
I hope that Minnesota is doing as well today. Our Committee, our Reps fighting for us, and the New Hampshire Lyme community were hard hard fighters and it did pay off.
This is a HUGE step for us. Keep it rolling in the other states too!

- Congratulations. So the bill won in the NH HOUSE, but still has to go to the NH Senate, now, before it becomes law? How does it look over there? -

We've been fighting hard in a lot of states. It's amazing.

Great! We don't have hope of progress in KY until you guys in the NE are able to set the record straight.

Tutu,
Yesterday, NH went to the House of 400 to protect our doctors for treating Lyme Patients. Our bill was similar to the ones that were passed in CT, RI, NY and CA.
Many other states are also working on bills.
For those interested in the House Session and the battle from both sides, you can view it at:

That is awesome. Good for you guys and anyone involved in the process.
Traction on this topic is great...interesting how insurance companies haven't yet attacked this with their full power and influence on elected officials. So long as they have those IDSA guidelines to prevent them from paying for treatment, they don't mind what doctors do??
I guess everyone should support patients right to appropriate and up to date medical care...so long as the patient has to pay out of pocket.

It great to see some of the clouds part. It is such great news!!!
I wonder if insurance companys are still struggling with the health care bill in congress and that has dried up some of their resources (special interest money)?
In other words, maybe we crawled under the radar.
