Anyone experienced this? I'm still trying to connect my white-frothy mucuous problem...

I think I noticed the Artemisinin may be making this worse for me.

I'm not sure if I should stop it.

Sigh....

I have been taking Artemisinin for about a month now and I haven't had any problems with mucous buildup. My allergies have been awful and my nose and head stuffed but other than that no problems.

"I also use Artemisinin, 2 cap 2times/day. 3 weeks on, 1 week off. Always with ? glass of grapefruit juice. 3 cycles. Watch iron levels! Artemisinin provokes the intestinal wall to secrete an enzyme which destroys the medication before it can be absorbed. This process builds up over 3 weeks. After a one week pause the enzyme has disappeared and takes another 3 weeks to reemerge. Grapefruit juice prevents formation of this enzyme."

This is what Dr. K. said in his Looking beyond abx article 5 years ago. Are you using grapefruit juice? He uses a lot more artemisinin (building up to it) in his cocktail containing a lot of other things. Artemisinin is also used to attack biofilm and for parasites of unknown sorts. We take very high amounts as a suppository for that purpose and that definitely shows up in the stool. But we always use it with a bit of grapefruit juice for the reason he indicated above.

Take care.

GiGi,

Thanks for responding to my threads. You're great.

You too lynn..

I just got some GSE drops today. I haven't started taking them yet, but I was planning on trying it out tomorrow or Sunday.

You mean straight Grapefruit juice? I haven't drank ANY juice in over 4 months. Strictly water, Powerade Zero, and the occasional small cup of sprite or coke.

That is what you meant, after I read again, I see.. How often should I be drinking Grapefruit juice?

I'm concerned that the Artemisinin and my G.I. tract are having problems. I already have a bulging and feels imflamed section right above my left hip bone. I used to mistake it for kidney pain, and I'm wondering if that's what is causing my chest and throat troubles...

Because I also tend to burp a lot, and have trouble burping at times, which would mean my esophagus is somehow related to all this...No?

I tell my LLMD about it, and they think this could only be yeast, but I have had this issue prior and tested negative for Candida.

All before I even started ABX.

Oh, and GiGi, I pulse the Artemisinin during the week 3 days on, 4 days off.

Maybe I should be taking as suppository instead, you're saying?
