So, I have been off abx now for about almost 5 weeks. Initially, I felt somewhat better which confused me. I thought, "maybe it's just the side effects of the meds making me sick."
Can you say denial?
However in past week I have begun to decline rapidly. My assumption is that the Lyme and co-inf are coming out from hiding.
But, the thing is I never really felt better on abx either, so makes me wonder if this will ever go away.
Oddly, this is the first time I really felt scared (except when I first found out and did research).
I think I have been in denial that I am as sick as I am.
I guess I don't really have a question, I just needed an outlet - an outlet with people who can empathize and understand.
I did switch LLMDs which is why I am on hiatus from treatment right now. I have an MRI of brain and PET of brain this week. Then we will go see LLMD and find out new treatment plan.
Thanks for "listening."
My best to all.

I know what scared is. I hate to say one day at a time, but I just take whatever gets me through the day till something comes through. Feel better.

OK, I'll go out on a limb. IMHO, I think Babs needs to be treated first and, at present, there is no effective tx. Very soon, however, tafenoquine will be available. I hope this fulfills my expectations.
I think once Babs is eradicated then Lyme will be easy. No comment on Bart at this time.
