I've had a lump in my thigh for about 20 years now and its so painful that I can't even sleep on my side.

I've asked numerous doctors if its cancer and none thing that it is. Could it be lyme related?

I've heard bartonella can cause lumps. If I get it removed, should I send it to a special lab for analysis?

I too am suspecting bartonella as I have sore fleshy bumps on my feet and shin bones. Do you have spider veins and strange blemishes on your legs? I have those as well and read thats strongly suggestive of Bart.

2young, does it seem like the lump is in your fat cell area?

I had those, called lipomas, and I know how to make them go away now! I drink noni juice and take grapeseed extract capsules, both antioxidants, and the lipomas disappear.
