i have read where garden of life fungal defense has cinnamon in it.

then i read a review where it stated that cinnamon is bad for candida and lyme patients because it actually feeds the stuff, like sugar.

o you know anything about cinnamon?

From what I've read about cinnamon it's fantastic. It's LOADED with anti-oxidants. I can't remember the exact ratio but it's something like the antioxidants in a tsp of cinnamon is the same as a cup of blueberries. Dang it, I can't find my source....

The oils in cinnamon act as an anti-microbial and it also has compounds that have insulin-ish properties that help regulate blood sugar. That's my own medical terminology [Smile]

I googled it several months ago after I read a short article at my drs office about it. Until then I had no idea is was such a beneficial spice. I sneak it into everything I can for my kids and myself

I hope it's OK with candida! I take it. It helps regulate blood sugar and more.

oh good, i'm going to try this fungal defense.

i understand it's not as harsh as humaworm and that other stuff.

hopefully it will help the yeast too.

I've read that you're supposed to limit the amount you take every day to......?... maybe 2 grams it said?

Also i would take milk thistle with it, to protect the liver.

The reason it helps delay post-prandial blood sugar spikes, i think, is because it slows down the passage of sugar in the liver? And it can be a little hard on the liver and kidneys?

So it's for regulating blood sugar every day in limited amounts.
