I am about to start Septra DS.
I am so scared to start it I have read horribble side effetcs. The one that scares me the most is Stevn Johnson Syndrome OMG I am so scared of it.
Can yyou please give me some insight on this and give me your experiences on this...ugh I am so nervous

I'm on it now and was scared of it.
I started out at 1/3 of a pill to test the waters, and gradually increased from there.
It was a harsh one, at first, for me. I had to stop and take a break from it.
I seem to be handling better now, knock on wood.

I'm on it. I take it twice/day. Been on it since April and have had no problems yet. I did start out at the full dose right away but you may want to do as Hambone suggested. It seems many on here are more sensitive to abx than me. I just jumped right in! Lol.
