I have to go to the chiropractor constantly for unstable joints. Have any of you found any kind of treatment protocol that can stabilize them?

Hey Ho Robin469434068362...

I have the same problem. My chiros have noticed if I am NOT treating the TBD's (with meds) that I need to go more often and they are right.

A difference of 2 times a week average to going for adjustments once every two weeks, at best.

I also feel Babesia makes the muscles nasty and may cause this? Just a theory and/or guess. And treatment does make it better for me.

Otherwise, I know of no additional things to do. So sorry!

Hope others have better advise, but thought I'd at least say hey to you!

I have always been very flexible, Lyme and co's made me even more, I was having a lot of subluxations. Weight lifting and strength yoga is making them much sturdier. Plus treatment of course.

I know EXACTLY what you are going through!! Last summer I was going a minimum of once a week. But my joints, primarily my hips, mid back, and neck, would stay in alignment for maybe 48 hours if I was lucky.

It wasn't until I "crashed and burned" (I had been functioning fairly well) and became bedridden basically that things started to come around for me.

I started getting regular massages, once a week for a while, then every two weeks and now I'm at every 2-3 weeks, a year later.

I refuse to get adjusted without a massage immediately before hand. I schedule them back to back and my Chiropractor can see a big difference. The massage loosens your muscles and puts your body in a position where it can welcome an alignment. Otherwise, the muscles are stiff and set in their misaligned form and will put the joints right back out very soon.

I would strongly encourage everybody to get regular massages. Its not very much more expensive than an adjustment and you end spending the same amount of money and feeling SO much better!

I hope you find relief soon, its miserable to be out like that constantly!
