I'm an acidic wasteland. My tissues and nerves are full of acids and deteriorating as a result.

I show signs of muscle wasting, muscle burning, etc etc

But here's the paradox... my morning urine pH (averaged out over a week) is roughly 7.4

#1 Why is my urine staying alkaline? I need to be flushing the built up acids

#2 How can we help alter the urine pH to get it into detox mode?

Your body in its own wisdom turns acidic in order to get rid of toxic metals. That is how heavy metals go into solution. You need metal detox support! Find a doctor who can test you as to which one is the best for you right now. It changes. Manipulating the body for ph is wrong. It knows what to do. But you need to support it with agents that work for your specific condition/metals/compartment, etc.

I would suggest you get help.

Take care.

Take care.

Ok thanks

And I'm not necessarily manipulating my body's pH if I'm supporting, say, the liver, right?

The liver plays a huge role in pH balance and obviously the detoxing of acids/metals/etc

Re: "My tissues & nerves are full of acid"
How did you come to this conclusion?
Waht tests were run... & by what docs?

Have you been consuming especially acidic things?
Waht are you doing to attempt to "detox"... and what toxins are you targeting?

Because I'm muscle wasting. My body has tapped into my mineral reserves and it's depleting me dry.

pH strips ca tell you urine/saliva pH.

I've stopped consuming acidic things as of 1 month ago. but prior to that (28 years) yes Lol

My colon is finally moving (2-3 BMs per day) ad so now my attempt at detox is focusing on the liver.

I clearly have an impairment (whether that be phase 1 or 2, congestion, MTHFR)

I'm probably going to give liver flushes a shot. i've talked to too many people who swear they saved their lives. (please don't foo foo the flushes in this thread - I know the "risks" and whatnot)

I wanted to ask too-- HOW do you know you're muscle wasting.? What are your symptoms/ results telling you this.

Also, why do you say you are acidic, if your urine ph says acidic?

cane,

Not getting enough protein is a big sign of muscle wasting. I had a friend with HIV, and everytime he went into muscle wasting he would eat a lot of meat protein and it would pull him out of it.

When the body is fighting infections it needs a lot of protein. It really doesn't sound like your acidic especially if your ph is alkaline.

My urine pH is alkaline but my tissue/saliva/blood are acidic.

There's a major difference between urine and tissue pH levels.

You WANT the urine pH to be acidic (slightly acidic in most cases)
And you want your tissue/blood to be alkalized.

Mine is flip flopped! And most chronically ill patients are too.
