- Yes, a common symptom. Still, you should communicate with your doctor if you think necessary.
Just because someone has lyme and lyme can cause all kinds of symtoms, some severe and some we just have to have patience with, not everything is lyme and even when it may be lyme related, there may need to be immediate medical action.
For those with lyme, a LLMD will better understand and likely refer if necessary. Of course, if an emergency, one's LLMD may not be able to be reached and most do NOT handle emergencies anyway.
It's hard to know just what is going on.
Is it your heart or your lungs - or just tissue in your chest area all around? It can be hard to know. The inflammation that goes with lyme & other TBD can cause a lot of pain.
Breathing exercises, slow, deep, calming . . . magnesium . . . the herb hawthorn . . . all help symptoms.
Others may have more energy for a better reply, though.
Have you been assessed for Babesia? -

I have chest pain and pressure. It is one of my scariest symptoms-I can so relate. It has gotten better for me with treatment for bart. Have had two ekgs as I really thought I was having a heart attack at one point! The ekg gave me some piece of mind. It is disconcerting to feel that type of chest pressure though-I totally understand. Hang in there

And I agree with Keebler-slow, deep breathing has helped me also as these symptoms make me extremely anxious
