I'm supposed to start chlorella and need some advice on which kind is best and how much to take. What is it supposed to do and what should I expect? Thank you.

BioPure is supposed to be the best but it is very pricey. I get Dr. Mercola's brand and I like it.
It is a good binder and also has many health benefits. It works best if you take 1 gram a half hour before meals. You can also take at bedtime.
I did not herx. I think it made me feel better, if anything. But some people do herx. I got the type that is easier on your stomach - chlorella vulgaris. It doesn't work quite as well as the other type as far as binding metals and toxins, but is easier on your system.

My doctor has me on 15 grams a day, right before breakfast and lunch and then right before bed.
