So my dd and I had to take our first dose this morning. Ewwww! Looked like yellow fluorescent paint! We mixed in some plain yogurt with honey and choked it down. It wasn't horrible for me but not pleasant either :-) It took a looooong time for my dd to take it.
Any advice for us?

I had to just take it fast, and I learned to handle the taste better. I tried to pretend it was banana flavored.
Make sure to take it with fat like a nut butter. I had a lot of abdominal pain if I took it by itself. Hope it helps you!!

I used to take it straight from a metal measuring teaspoon. To me it looked grosser than it tasted. You should have a healthy fat around the same time that you take it - like nuts, almond butter, an egg, ... I guess the yogurt would be good as long as it has some fat in it.

I had to mix it in applesauce initially and it worked well for me. Have your dd try it-it is "looser" than the yogurt so I could sort of swallow without tasting it. Good luck

LLMD said to eat a piece of cheese with it or a handful of nuts. Sometimes I just put heavy cream in my coffee and drink that after taking it.
I would think mixing it with food would prolong the taste.
Mine has a funny looking funnel that goes into the bottle so I can pull the mepron out in a syringe. Makes it easier to shoot it in quick.lol. You can buy the funnel at the drug store and I think it is in the baby section. Mine comes with the drugs.
