Is Rifampin and IV Rocephin enough to see improvements in Bart? I think my Lyme is improving, but Bart is not. In the past I was on Rifampin/Zithro or with Doxy as well and saw inprovement quickly (few weeks).

I think you can build a tolerance by going on and off Rifampin -
it happened to me. JMO.

My most recent llmd (third one) has progressed from traditional abx to using more herbals in their practice.

They took me off rifampin (from another llmd) and put me on vitalguard supreme, liposomal artemisinin (one day per week), and mc bab-2.

Seeing more improvement in bart symptoms than with the rifampin.

There's also a great bartonella group on yahoo groups where you might find more info.
