Hi everyone, I have been doing very well. Off antibiotics for 2 years but dealing with candida still.
I recently took a trip to Europe and was on a 10 hour flight where I started having spine pain. It hasn't gone away and it feels as though my lower spine is inflamed. Does anyone know what would cause this? I may remember spinal pain being a symptom of Bartonella, but not sure.
Also, another topic... a family member told me about testimonials using food grade hydrogen peroxide to treat all kinds of medical conditions. Does anyone know anything about this? It's not the same thing as MMS, right? Thank you!

I would not worry about it being from an infection .. sounds like it's from sitting still for a LONG trip and then being active during your trip.
Perhaps a bit more than you are used to?
No way would I do hydrogen peroxide (IV's) or MMS myself. Nope.

You could see a chiropractor about it. I get my whole spine adjusted regularly. Also PTs may know what to do. It depends on what's going on.
Food grade H2O2 is an oxygen treatment. Lyme doesn't like oxygen, so it's a good idea for us.
Who knows what can happen for us - when I drank oxygenated water for a week, all the psoriasis on my knees, elbows and next to my ears disappeared!

I had severe spine pain with Babesia duncani. It flared badly on liposomal artemisinin and finally went away with regular antibiotics. I think zithromax and mino finally got it.

It could be babesia like organism. You could try putting castor oil and wrap something stretching and a little snug some kind or stretchy large bandage then apply like a heat pad for 15 minutes at a time.

There are so many Lyme-related and non-Lyme-related potential causes for back pain that it is impossible to answer this except to suggest that you first have an assessment from a chiropractor, osteopath or physio.

thank you everyone. I plan on seeing a chiropractor if it stays any longer.
It's interesting that several mention Babesia because when I read an article of a woman who had the same experience as I did... long plane ride, fatigue, back pain, shortness of breath and a few other things. She said it was Babesia acting up. The reasoning is that Babesia thrives in low oxygen environments like planes. I did not do well flying so I thought this could be the issue.
Any thoughts?
Also, I do agree that oxygenation is great, the peroxide freaks me out a little but I'm willing to research. My mother read that a woman inhaled it (through a diffuser I guess)...didn't even take it internally and it cured her Bartonella. Not sure how legit the claim is.

MMS is not the same thing as H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide).
I wouldn't use either one in an IV nor inhaler form. Both could cause chemical burns in the veins or airway/lungs.
I thought Babs liked oxygen, but I could be wrong?

Thank you Razzle. That's a good question about Babs and oxygen. Maybe it does like oxygen and since I was in a low oxygen environment maybe it was causing die-off? Interesting...
I think I definitely have issues when flying and it must be due to pressure/oxygen levels.
