Beyond simply denying LD saying "you can't get it here", virtually everything in Canada to do with Lyme is driven by the IDSA Guidelines (even though they've been struck down). This, from the Federal level, on down to the Provincial Health Departments - in this case BC Health and BC CDC.
I direct you to this Youtube video about one patient, who might be described as the "Poster Child" for the effects of a Healthcare System that is completely hostile to/and in denial of Lyme Disease Patients - thanks to the corrupt IDSA Guidelines.
Not much else needs saying, the video tells it all.

Mr. Bill...
Leave it here. Please.
I wouldn't have seen it and many others won't if it is stuck in the sticky threads.
I am thankful that you shared this with all of us.. and I am going to pass it along to others.
Let us know more about her condition and how better we can help. My prayers will be for your darling Marie.
