Ok just my thoughts but maybe we should have a subject just dedicated to humor?

I find good stuff posted in all the topics but with time I can't find them again and I had too many links to filter through to find them.

Off topic seems to be less used, could that be used for comedy instead?

I know there's lots of web sites to go to but the stuff here is soooo much better because it relates to what many here are going through and I think we sometimes need to find SOME humor in this Lyme boat we're all stuck in. [group hug]

Don't take me wrong, there's nothing humorous about the pain and loss of our abilities. [Frown]

I learned alot from my Dad, he was born with cerebrel palsy. When I was growing up his response to kids teasing him about how he walked was to poke fun back. He used to tell people that he's the one who walked normal. [loco]

Oh for pete's sake, I sure do digress easily. All I'm looking for is some easy way to post some of the funny stuff that happens when living with Lyme and company.

I totally agree!!! I would love some ongoing place to post any of the funnies that happen as a result of all this.

For instance just last night I was having a conversation with someone about a lifesaver on a boat and I wasn't sure if thats what it was called. So I said "that is right isn't it? Lifesaver? Isn't there a candy called lifesaver too? They are both called lifesaver? The candy and the thingy on the boat?" [bonk]

Normally I would know this but, at the time it just didn't seem right. Good thing is people don't realize, I DO THIS ALL DAY LONG! I just always hope I spread it amoung different people all day so no one catches on. [loco]

Anyway, hopefully we can get something going. There are too many good laughs that come out of this.

LOL good one piegirl, [kiss]

Actually what I was thinking of was not a thread but a discussion board like we have, such as activism, medical questions etc.

there are two of them not used much and I thought, atleast for me, there must be an easier way to just sit down and enjoy these posts.

Threads are good but I constantly lose track of them.

Hey, just thinking we could put a thread over in OFF TOPIC maybe name it LYMIE FUNNIES or something like that.

Then could we post over in MEDICAL saying this got started for anyone who wants to be in the Lyme light and share their Lyme moments. [lol]

OFF TOPIC is not very busy so I don't think it would be lost easy as long as people keep adding to it. I know with how I am I would be a frequent flyer! [dizzy] Let me know.

ok, I started a thread in Off Topics.
http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=006736#000000

Thanks bettyg and piegirl....I stole your ideas and combined them for the title, i hope that was ok?

I didn't know how or if I could transfer your postings to there so I guess a fresh start is in order.

I sooooooo look forward to some giggles and laughter, I think we all need it here. [lol]

I will go to the other boards and announce its existence.

Love to you all, keep laughing. [kiss] [group hug]
