Hey there gang!
I'm heading to Texas on the 4th of July. No, not for fun in the sun but am going to UT Medicine there.
Could use some help with a place to stay and transportation.
Even some suggestions on a really, really cheap hotel and rental car would be appreciated.
Doesn't even have to be in San Antonio but close by.
My appointment isn't until Monday at 12:00 so have free time on Sunday and Tuesday (maybe, if no tests).
Would like to meet some Lymenetters if possible.
Have met some at the Lymenet rally in N.C. for Dr. J. and went to one of the Lymefloats.
Anyways, hope to meet some of you!!!

here's something you can check out while folks might see your note here ...
click on DIRECTORY at top
go to 2nd blank line and type San Antonio, Texas next line use arrow chosing LOCATION click search it will show you all members from that area who put in where they are from; LOWER numbers are most current members.
good luck & hope you get a chance to talk to many ... xox

BTW, found a really great deal on Samsclub.com.
Am staying at the America's Best Value Inn at the A T & T Center from 7/4-7/7.
Got a great package deal for the hotel and a rental car for $168!!!
Miracles do happen!

You're lucky you found a good motel without setting you back a BUNCH!! Maybe since it's not basketball season and the AT&T Center is where they play. GO SPURS!!!
I used to live in SA but no more! I miss it. It will be HOT at that time of year, so be sure to go down on the Riverwalk to cool off!!
Hope you're not expecting Lyme treatment there!

Thanks Charlie and Jenny!
Thanks for the Riverwalk tip TuTu. Might go swimming since the hotel has a pool and am also thinking of visiting the Alamo.
I'm seeing a Dr. at UT Medicine for my shoulder and clavicle. Need another surgery probably.
Will let you all know what I find out and I'll post it here.
Gee, like surgery 6 months ago wasn't enough....
Thank you all!
Joann
