I feel a lot better about ATTY

I seen today that he wants to win my case and make history.

If we win it will be the first tick born illness
case won in North Carolina

I know I need this case won But, even more important I'm going to buck up as best I can

And hope to pave a road that Lyme is a occupational Disease for all workers who are exposed to ticks.

Tomorrow is the big day. Let us pray.

Yes, good luck. Hope the judge will go ahead and rule, but don't be surprised if you have to wait for a decision.

Yours is a tough case, indeed. And the history of Lyme in NC is not too positive. Using the NC medical board ruling, there will be much dirt the WC insurer's attorney can dig up. I do hope the tide has turned here in NC ... this will be a test.

Be consistent with your story and follow your attorney's advice.

I will be thinking of you!

Yea That is what he stressed . my answers should
be yes, no, I don't know and I can't remember

Only if he ask me to elaborate and said it
should be short ,sweet and to the point.

With all The Support I believe we can do this

Love you guys

david, best wishes today! what time is this; i'm just getting back to the board.

also, when i had my 1st admn law judge hearing, lawyer told me the following:

do NOT dress up; wear clean clothes with NO HOLES in them.

women...no makeup; no jewelry; no fancy hairdo

if you have to drive very far, stop for a restroom break to go, and go before it starts,

i was in so much pain, i took my electric heating pad to 1st one and used it entire time.

again, best wishes; we're ALL ROOTING FOR YOU to win and make NC history [Smile] hugs/kisses

Today went well
I didn't break down ntill my Atty asked how was
things with my wife and kid.

I began to cry as I told them how much I miss my daughter and she me , due to me being so sick.

I don't think there was a dry eye in the court room.

And my wife testfied how I was a manly man befor
and now she does every thing and I do good to make it from the couch to bed

And that if I mow the grass it takes a week to recover and that our relationship in bed has been zero since my first diagnoses and treatment

Overall I think the testimony went good.

Now it up to the Dr. reports and ATTY's and the
big man upstairs.

Look to know results in Oct. or Nov. 09

Praise God it is out of my hands now.

I can take A deep breath of relief for now.

However the Insurance Co. I thank will
appeal if they lose and so will we

hi david,

glad you felt it went well; and the extra stress is off your shoulders now.

the waiting will be the worst 2 months; so try to keep your mind occupied otherwise IF possible.

letting human emotion show by crying during the worst is OK; why fake it? lyme stinks and takes away everything including sexual fulfilment, etc.

best wishes; thx for the update david. hugs/kisses

David-

I was curious ... for a WC claim, the first order of business would be to prove that your exposure to Lyme happened while on the job. Did you actually have a medical office note where you went to the doctor with a tick on you? And you filed an injury report with the Industrial commission or your employer? And someone from work actually saw the tick and could testify to the fact that you got the tick while on the job??

I was just curious.

Yes I showed the welps daily from the tick bites

to my supervisor and the MD at urgent care saw

the same.

Work-Comp don't deny the bites.

They refuse to go beyond the IDA guidlines for

any treatment after the first round of ABX that

lasted about a month.

Also my LLMD is J. of SC

Also, I recieved a WC check for the first 3 weeks

I was out of work.

The injury report was filed. June 6 08

The WC ATTY is trying to make out my continued
illness is fake.

Also attacking the cridibility Of my LLMD

He is the only one close to Charlotte NC

The ID Dr. , urgent care refered me to don't treat lyme

He looked me over and said I was on doxy to long and I would be fine in a week.

However I got worse from July 08 - Oct. 08

I saw my LLMD Oct.08

Began treatment in Nov. 08 after he got the new LabCorp test and IgenX W.blot

By this time I could not make a whole day or week of work.

I was completly disabled until treatment for babasia April 09

My right leg drew up to the point of dragging and all my ribs felt broken.

as well as the mental and neuro symptoms.

I honestly did not think I would live.

I had no clue to symtoms or herx at that time.

But, anyway the arguement is my LLMD and that I was cured after a round of ABX.

My work knew I recieved multiple bites daily over a three week period. ( no dening )

And one other helper for one day got one bite and a bulls eye rash.

He was also treated and released after one round of ABX.

I was already out of work sick when his rash showed up and got treatment.

Didn't know about that untill I returned to work.

I had no rash just welps that itched like a chigger bite that wouldn't heal.
