I did hurt for her and I also wondered how much of the sleepiness was the Lyme because I fall asleep sitting up and take hardly any pain meds. and dont get sleepy from them.
I just wonder what kind of hell she went through when they withdrew her from the meds cause withdraws make you sicker too and you know they didn't have an LLMD for her to see.
I cant get enough pain medication because I follow the rules. I also live in fear that the doctor is going to decide I look too well or just for no reason decide to lower it even more.
I don't get enough as it is and I live in fear and with reduced freedom. If they would give me a few more MG of medication, I would be able to have a better quality of life and do more things but NNNOOOO!!!
The media is showing the 1% of sick people and never showing all of us who are responsible with our medication.
I do realize this show is about addiction but it still made me think of that. Maybe just cause every time someone gets shot on a cop show or injured on another show they become addicts.

Catnippy- I completely agree with you. Here I am RESPONSIBLY taking my meds and I can't get enough to control my pain. No one wants to give me more because they don't believe in my pain. And my LLMD doesn't treat pain, only Lyme.
Addicts and abusers are able to get so much more meds, I don't know how, doctor shopping? Buying them illegally? I don't know I just know that I follow the rules, see doctors, explain my pain, and follow the directions on the script even though by 8 pm I am in horrible pain. And I still can't get what I need.
