Yes, I'm still here!! I was sick all day yesterday .. taking it easy again today.

Either got a stomach bug or food poisoning.

Hiker .. So sorry to hear about your MD passing away. It's terrible to lose good medical professionals!!

Tutu--Hope you are better soon.

Heavy rain today, but it stopped long enough to get in a 20 minute walk.

Doing laundry and relaxing. Typical Sunday.

Have a moving week. [Big Grin]

Lucy....I'm home!!!

Back from Atlanta today and got tons of exercise in from dancing! We had a wonderful 2 nights of dancing, shooting pool and socializing. I had so much fun!

Thanks TuTu for getting us started! Can't believe you found a gym for $20 a year. My old church was thinking of doing the same thing and having a frisbee golf course. Hope you feel better!

Wow Hiker, another death! Kinda scary so many dying before their time. So the scan you had wasn't quite accurate huh? What's up with that? I'd ask the chiro about it.

Hey Kayak so good to read your post! You're going gang busters at your place! I need to work around the yard but might need a day to recover from ATL.

Oh my Mom went out to lunch yesterday and her bestie visited with her. Josh and I both checked on her Friday and Saturday. She seemed ok but she looks tired. We're heading out to the Chinese buffet in about 30 minutes.

You all are awesome!

Eye appointment this morning. All is fine.

Went for a 20 minute walk this afternoon. Walking around the Mennonite condos where I want to live and ran into a woman that used to be in my Lyme support group years ago. She lived in another town 20 miles away.

She is 76 and except for some neuropathy in her feet she is fine and doing well. Said it took her 7 years to get into the condos, though.

AK--glad you had fun in Atlanta.

Tutu--hope your tummy is fine now.

Lp--What's new at your place?

Hiker ... well, 7 years is better than never, I guess!! You've been on the list how long?

I'm doing better today. I got really dehydrated on Saturday and my BP dropped to 77/44 .. and etc .. It was scary with a high heart rate to boot. I was getting worried I would need to go to the ER, but I made it through.

We haven't heard from LP in the past day or two.

Tutu--Only been on condo list a year. I turned in an application 5 years ago, but the man I handed it to never got it to the board, so it was never approved. Can't go back and undo that issue, so will just be patient.

Prayers for a faster turnaround would be great. I looked at her condo and it would be perfect for me.

Slept in today while it rained. Great sleeping weather.

Walked 26 minutes this afternoon.

Pulled a few weeds, but will do more tomorrow. Just too soggy today. Very steamy out.

Organized pics from cell phone to computer so I have a back up of them.

Am making a list of questions for various things I need to do--new windows/doors, changing internet providers etc, questions for MD's etc.

Overall, a quiet day.

Today I made it to the Y! 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill, 10 minutes in the sauna and a quick shower. Very minor pelvic discomfort so the pelvic floor weights/exercises are helping. Thank God!

I hope you don't have to wait that long Hiker to get a condo there! Sounds like retirement is working for you giving some time for organizing. I need to get outside myself and trim the bushes and pop out some more weeds. Also the fire ants are getting bad again so need to sprinkle some bait around.

That's super low blood pressure TuTu! Weren't you dizzy? Glad you're on the mend. I had a bad reaction today to Raid's flying insect killer. Made my mouth feel weird and I could actually taste it. Got out of the room immediately but my cheeks puffed up anyways. Felt better about 2 hours later.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow!

Tutu--Hope your blood pressure is back up to normal. That has to be scary.

AK--Wow, when you go to the Y you really get right back into exercise.

I worked out in the yard for a little over an hour. Even though it was not extremely hot, it was so humid, I just wilted. I don't sweat--must be genetic from my mom. Had to come in or I would have overheated and been a goner.

Anyway, it takes 30 minutes to use the grass trimmer around the fence, walks etc. Then I pulled weeds. Have more to pull.

Went to the library and picked up 3 books on hold. They all came in at once and I have one week to read them all.

Treated myself to a decaf iced mocha with coconut milk at Starbucks. Had a gift card. I have lost about 8 pounds recently and I need to gain some back or my pants won't fit. Figured this would be a fun way start.

Of course, if I worked out more, I would have muscle mass and we all know muscle weighs more than fat. [Big Grin]

Yeah, the BP leveled out once I got over the MCAS and/or dehydration .. I think it was a little each.

Hoping to go to a benefit show in about an hour. It's a show for a local radio personality who has had cancer recently.

All kinds of big names will be in the show, so it will be fun. A few of them I haven't seen in several years.

Had a little episode with my gut again early afternoon. I've been backing off my MCAS meds and I think that is the result. Ooops.

AK .. I hope you are doing well today.. not too sore!

I was sore today but still went to the Y and did 30 minutes on the treadmill. Ran errands then cooked dinner for me, Mom and Josh.

Glad you're feeling better TuTu. Did you back off all your MCAD meds even the antihistimines? Let us know how the show went.

I seem to have only 2 speeds Hiker, stop and go. Starting at my usual 30 minutes probably isn't very smart. Also I'm doing the same speed of 3.3 mph. I was eyeing the stair climber today and obviously have lost what little sense I had left.

Well, it's after 3 in the a.m. and have to be up at 8:30 to take my Mom to an appt. with her neurologist.

Night gang!

Ak--hope your mom's appointment went well.

I felt so great yesterday and so horrible today. My leg muscles twitched all last night despite taking my magnesium.

Made it to the grocery store and to get my hair cut and that is about it. Had to use my walking stick today and didn't need it yesterday.

Am waiting for my friend from North Carolina to arrive. Sure wish I felt better but am super excited to see her.

Having a bad day today . . .It was really nice out, but I didn't feel well.

No exercise. I spent all day watching videos on you tube. I haven't been feeling well ever since I got one of those weird colds that don't go away last week.

I hope I'm actually getting better... but I'm going back to some of my pre-Lyme symptoms it seems, which maybe is a good sign. But maybe not.

HI, Lyme248!! Hope tomorrow is a much better day!!

AK .. I try to take less than the one Xyzal and one Pepcid twice a day. It stops all motility after awhile! So, I take 1/2 Xyzal twice a day quite often.

I usually end up taking two Pepcid per day, but try to skip one now and then.

Had such a long day in the city that I'm too exhausted to tell you about it. It was crazy .. and it was topped off by a traffic jam on the way back.

Thank goodness I left town when I did because it was still backed up at 6 pm.

They had a shooting between an officer and a motorist about 30 minutes after I went through there. (When I was headed north) I guess they had to document to the max .. so they were still there ALL DAY and they blocked one lane.

No one was killed or injured and the guy was taken into custody. He had been stopped for a traffic violation.

Just pelvic floor exercises today. Took Mom to her Dr appt and the office relocated and was closed. I don't know what happened. Left a message and no call back.

So we went to breakfast instead and antiquiting afterwards.

Hope you feel better and have a great time with your friend Hiker!

That's some scary stuff TuTu! I had a next door neighbor come over yesterday and ask for money. One of their relatives used to come over late at night and ask my Mom for money. Josh took care of that! Sheesh, not safe anywhere.

Hope those symptoms clear up soon L248! Glad to see you on the thread!

See everyone tomorrow!

Thanks. I do feel much better today. I'm hoping to track down why I feel fine some days and so bad other days.

I'm going to go for a walk today. I've gotten to where I can walk about 4 miles on a really good day.

Lyme248--4 miles is really great. That is a dream for me.

Ak and Tutu--So much violence in the world and so much scary stuff. It's a wonder I live alone. LOL

Am enjoying my friend from NC. Last night we went to the hotel where her sister and BIL are staying and ate dinner on the patio.

Today we have been pretty lazy. Went to the grocery store and now she is off to get a baby present for her niece.

We are grilling out burgers tonight. Glad we are not doing anything fancy--just enjoying yakking.

Only exercise I got today was watering the plants.

248 ... 4 miles is awesome! For me, that's about 80 minutes of walking. How about yourself?

I would die of heatstroke if I did that outside.

I ended up not doing any exercise this week, but after yesterday I slept like a ROCK. I slept 6 hours straight, then went to the restroom and slept 3 more. I bet I didn't move a muscle during the first 6 hours.

The downside is that I dreamt that I killed someone. I don't think there was even a good reason for it. HA! Scary stuff.

Thankfully, all I remember is apologizing for killing someone's sister. (I don't remember the act .. whew).. I usually never dream bad stuff. I guess I was just completely exhausted and my brain went for a wild ride.

I hope to dream about butterflies and puppies tonight. LOL.

Hiker .. Your visit sounds relaxing .. enjoy!

AK .. Did you find out what happened to the doctor's office?

WHOA!!!! Just heard on the news that the guy the deputy stopped on the highway yesterday had 53 guns in his car and 5,000 rounds of ammo. It was all stolen in a nearby county.

TuTu- wow that is scary. Maybe you had a strange dream from thinking about that guy on the motorcycle. But I have a lot of strange dreams too -they always seem to precede one of my bad days, when my brain feels like it is going nuts.

I don't time myself, but I think it usually takes me a little less than an hour, if I do some running too. I always have to stop for cars, so it hard to tell. I've been working up slowly over the last 4 years.

That's what really drives me up the wall with being sick I can do all this running, and I'm still sick. (But maybe that won't be true for long)

Hiker- that sounds fun to eat dinner outside.

Hubby was able to finish up the last of a big order and has it ready for delivery.

I did laundry this afternoon and hung it out to dry. Also got a little mulching done in the garden.

Discovered the peas are ready for the first picking tomorrow morning. Will need to pick strawberries also.

I tried to grow some strawberries this year, but they disappeared. I think the robins ate them. I used to grow snap peas, but the chipmunks kept eating the seeds after I planted them.

All the critters like fresh vegetables just as much as I do.

Manname--I am coming over for peas and strawberries. Yum.

My garden has not done well. Too hot this year and not enough rain. May get a few green beans, but not much else.

My friend from NC had to leave last night after allergies/asthma flared up. She went to the hotel where her sister and BIL are staying. But we did have a great time together.

I think the ancient carpet in the spare bedroom bothered her. Which is a bit odd, because she lived with me for 5 years without issues. But that was eons ago.

Just as well, as I saw tiny ants marching along one wall in there this afternoon. I think they are coming in around the window seeking my cool AC.

I rarely spray insecticides, but got out my Spectracide and sprayed around the window and then outside all around the base of the house and along the window frames and baseboards of my basement. Put out a few bait traps as well.

Walked this morning for almost 25 minutes. Very steamy and mid90's now, so glad I went out earlier.

Am doing laundry today and heading to my folks tomorrow for Father's Day.

Going to have a quiet afternoon and evening.

Just pelvic floor exercises yesterday and went to a renewing of vows and 50th anniversary shindig at the country club. Beautiful ceremony!

Today I participated in an Okinawan Taiko drum class. First time for me and I was pretty bad but had so much fun!

Then this afternoon trimmed bushes and picked up tree limbs and dug out a few more roots.

So was pretty active today.

Wow L248, 4 miles is alot! I'm doing only about 1 1/2 miles in 30 minutes on a treadmill. I warm up and cool down about 5 minutes.

Laid back evening sounds great Hiker! Glad you're having such a good time with your friend!

What I wouldn't give for a good long sleep TuTu! I'll pass on the nightmares though. Had them almost my whole life but they're rare now. Oh and nothing from the doctor's office.

I love fresh peas Manna! First time I had some was in AK. One of my friends had a green house and grew all kinds of wonderful veggies. She made homemade pesto and bread that was crazy delicious!

Well gang I'm showered and already in my jammies. Watching An Officer and a Gentleman so it's romantic movie night. Later!

[hi]

Hey gang!

Very hot here .. should cool off this week with rain included. We'll see.

My dad used to grow strawberries .. very fond memories of that!

It was our 45th wedding anniversary today! We celebrated by having steak and shrimp at a local steakhouse. It was good and didn't break the bank.

AK .. I love taiko drums! That sounds like great fun!

Ann .. Glad you had time with an old friend!

Lyme ... Did you walk today?
