Lyn D wrote a letter to Dear Abby for May LDA month and Abby responded very well. However, there are some commenters there who think that medical schools are doing a good job of educating doctors to recognize and treat Lyme disease and that there is no problem with such.

When I clicked on the link, there were no ignorant comments. Could they have been removed because the trolls had taken over the discussion? Thanks to lyn who wrote the initial letter.

Yes, they seem to have been removed but why not post some positive ones of our own? I'll do so, later when I have some time.

Thx for checking. Try scrolling down through the comments. I think you can still add replies to any of the plainly false statements.

No, there is only one comment. Nothing to scroll down to.

Oh, I see them now. That site is strange in how you have to access the older comments. There are ton of really toll- like comments. You are correct Robin.

Yeah, you need to keep scrolling down. As far as I'm concerned, anyone looking to learn something at a site like this will have an opportunity to read OUR comments about what's really going on and what to do about it.

I totally agree with you, but in my experience whenever I post an article that most often is full of misinformation and ask others to make their opinions and voices heard, I get almost no response from this site.
Of course, we should take every opportunity we can to make our voices heard and to help educate others and push back against misinformation. Even if only one person is helped by our comments then we have done a great thing.
