I just bought a bottle of Proboulardi by Metagenics.

Each capsule contains 4 billion live organisms (Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus) + 275 mg S. boulardii (5.5 billion live organisms).

I will be alternating between Ultra Flora Plus DF (30 to 45 billion CFUs/day) and Proboulardi. One day the first one, the second day the other one.

My question is: How many S. boulardii capsules should I take on the days I'm not taking the acidophilus?

At the moment I take one S. boulardii tablet daily and one other probiotic capsule daily.

When I had C. diff, I took up to 4 S. boulardii tablets daily (I think...hard to remember).

The probiotics tend to constipate me, unfortunately. But I need to take them so I don't get C. diff again.
