Hi,

Derealization is my worst symptom by far. I have had it for a year non-stop for a year. I have been treating for 4 1/2 months. I have had three glimmers of it getting better. I have been taking doxy/rifampin/zith.

My doctor just switched me to omnicef, zith, mycobutin, and flagyl. I am pusling these. It's weird. He think it is bart and this should help.

For those of you who have overcome it, what did you use and how long did it take?

Derealization was the symptom I hated the most and I didn't think it would ever go away.

This probably isn't too helpful but I bought a rife machine several months ago and started treating babs at the same time.

I'm not sure which, but either babs treatment or rifing took care of it.

I feel for you and hope you can find a way to rid yourself of it soon.

Lauren,
Congrats on getting rid of it. Still trying abx. Might get to rife eventually.

djf2005 - did your LLMD think it was caused by bartonella. Mine does. What abx? Probably the whole range of them.

Yea Venus I have been wondering the same thing. Its been my worst and most bothersome symptom for the past 4 yrs.

When i start doing better it starts getting better but it never goes away fully.

I wish i had some more input. It seems like most people who have this symptom get better with bart or babs treatement. I guess its different what the cause is for each person.

Ill be sure to let you know if it improves for me.

Good luck.

Joe

This is one of my worst symptoms. It has not gone away for good, but has rather left and returned. Undoubtedly bart or babs for me.

Well, I might be herxing hard from my very first day of this treatment - I was having the suicidal thoughts last night. That hasn't happened since started treatment.

I wonder if it is a big, bad bart herx. Makes me scared to take the drugs again tomorrow. It might be too much for my system or maybe I need to work through it. I just don't know.
