We tested the complete lyme panel and co-infections with Igenex. We would like to retest now to see where we stand.
But as Igenex is strictly out of pocket and rather expensive, we were wondering which other reputable labs people have had success with?
I know that Igenex is supposed to be the best but sometimes other labs have other protocols that may catch something the first one missed.
Looking to do lyme & co-infections.
Anyone had luck with any of the following labs?
Stony Brook Medical Diagnostics Imugen

I recently posted a link to a lab that is supposed to be performing molecular and immunological lab testing for Lyme and Co's I haven't tried but have a friend that is contemplating it.
I've read that Stony Brook will report all bands, if your doctor requests it, so maybe they'd be the best of that bunch. Not sure regarding accuracy however.
For co-infections, I used Labcorp for babesia microti (and hopefully duncani) testing, Sunrise + local hospital labs for everything else. No idea if it matters there, as co-infection testing isn't so accurate anyway. If seeing a decent doctor, he'll diagnose based on symptoms. But I tested positive for several co-infections using regular labs, so at least you know they can sometimes find a positive.
Did you do an antibiotic challenge? Perhaps it'll show something if antibiotics riled things up, but if you didn't take any meds at all, I'm not sure if any commercial lab will be better than Igenex or show anything different.

So be sure to tell him/her to request it! Never heard of Medical Diagnostics.
You can order the Western Blot from Igenex for around $200.
Test #188 and 189 .. That's all you need anyway... IF that. I see no need to retest .. but if that floats your boat..

MDL, Medical Diagnostics is a commonly used lab but I don't think it's as good as it was in the old days.
Still if your insurance covers it, it's better than quest.

Clongen is another possibility. They show the western blot strip so your doc can see all bands that are present, but only report positive or negative based on CDC criteria.

Does anyone know anything about ARUP labs? They test for lyme and co-infections as well.
