Well, I've struck out with the first two binders I've tried.

Chlorella makes me anxious and Diatomaceous Earth is causing constipation and sleepiness.

Please let me know your favorite binder and why you like it.

Thanks!

Bentonite clay and zeolite because they work well and I tolerate them.

Have you tried activated charcoal?

Although it might make you constipated too

Make sure you eat more fiber when taking binders to offset the constipation,

I've been taking microsilica.....expensive though. It's one of Dr. K's favorites.

Bentonite clay works for me also.

I also love charcoal, but be careful not to take too regularly as it can deplete you of minerals, etc.

With all of these, drink plenty of water/good fluids, and make sure to stay up on your electrolytes.

If you take binders 20 minutes before taking abx, wouldn't the binders make the abx less effective?

Yes wait at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours after taking antibiotics and other meds.

Thanks for the suggestions. I see my LLMD on Wednesday and will ask him about each.

I sure hope he doesn't favor microsilica. I about fainted when I saw the price :-)

Well, I'm still muscle testing for D.E., so I'm trying it again.

I've increased my electrolytes so I can drink more water (I have frequent urination issues, so I wasn't drinking unless I was thirsty).

And, I'll be trying coffee enemas two times a week once I get the supplies. I presume that will take care of the constipation issue :-)

I really like Modifilan as a binder. It does not compete with food or deplete minerals.

They came up with this particular formula after Chernobyl for radiation. It also does a nice job with lead and other heavy metals.

Coffee enemas are not meant for getting the bowels moving. In fact, it is suggested that they be done after a natural bowel movement.

They are for stimulating the liver to produce glutathione and detoxify. That's why they are retained.

So, though coffee enemas are great (I did them often), you still need to be sure your bowels are moving regularly.

@Nana - that looks like a good option if my current experiment doesn't work :-)

@six - Yikes! Thanks for letting me know :-)
