-bullseye rash 6 months ago -started treatment within 48 hours -since rash 4 weeks of doxy/then bactrim (allergic)/rifampin for a couple months/cedax for a month -symptoms have been pretty mild thru out the 6 months (dizzyness, muscle twitching, brain fog all of which mostly subsided) -now my LLMD has started me on doxy again to "get the rest of this bacteria out" (i had told him i was at 90%) -since starting doxy oct 3rd - ive gotten much more tired, got cramps in my legs when working out - thats never happened beore, and gotten serious wrist pain in a wrist where i only previously had very mild carpal tunnel.
is this a herx? how long will this last? my LLMD says the wrist hurts so bad because the lyme more or less attacked a weak area of my body and the doxy is bringing it out.

For some, treatment can take 1 - 3 years before a good remission. While, I'm not an expert, my take on this is is that it can be hard to know exactly so all bases have to be covered.
Truly, toxin buildup is important to address.
My standard question is always about support methods and supplements. Muscle cramps can be low magnesium, low calcium, zinc that is not quiet where it needs to be, electrolytes, etc.
Turmeric/curcumin can help as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and pain reducer. MSM, too.
Can you get some professional massage? Warm baths in epson salts (not a hot bath, though, just cozy warm).
I suggest wearing carpal tunnel braces at least at night. Magnesium can go to a total of 1,000 to 2,000 mg a day - in divided doses to bowel tolerance. It has to be taken 2 - 3 times a day.
Liver support is important, of course and I just assume that is in place since you've been treating for a while. But, you might need to change that around a bit.

Most likely. Changing meds can make you feel worse, even when you've reached 90%. I reached 90% many times and then crashed again when meds were changed.
