This is the new My Lyme test from NeuroScience.

It sounds like she didn't give you the other most important part of the test that is the T cell reaction to the lyme pathogen.
This is not an antibody test so it does not have bands.

It is a T cell reaction to ONLY the lyme pathogen tested. It is 98% accurate and there is no cross reactions because you are only tested against the lyme pathogen.
Then your blood is tested against the pathogen once more with your cytokine response to again just the lyme pathogen.

It is a three part test. The wb on it is to CDC status and is included. But if the other more accurate parts are positive...you have lyme without a doubt.

With the ID docs always saying some tests are not accurate these newer more cutting edge tests cannot be argued with.

They presented at ILADS with a huge interest. These newer tests are more cutting edge and extremely accurate. NeuroScience does take insurance on some things except Aetna which of course happens to be mine. Oh well...

Maybe it's because I made lasagna for dinner, but I read the title of this post as "Parmesan Labs."

Sorry to butt in, but that just made me laugh.

I took their Lyme ITT test in Oct of 2010.

It is listed as their Panel 5651 Lyme ITT test.

My scores:

VisE-1 = 5.2 (positive)

OspC = 0.6 (negative)

p100 = 1.0 (negative)

p41 = 4.6 (positive)

DbpA = 1.9 (negative)

ranges -

< 2.0: negative

2.0-2.6: equivocal

> 2.6: positive

Both my VisE-1 and p41 were seriously positive.

I have been off of antibiotics for over a year.

Can anyone give me the scoop about what LLMD's are saying about this lab. Do they like it and think the testing procedures are good?

Anyone know yet how it compares to Igenex? I have a find just getting ready to test. I this lab takes her insurance and it's good it may be a better option for her.

Would love to know your thoughts on this.

Dr. S. of the Tarpon Springs area of FL, and Dr. L., of Orlando, FL both speak very highly of this lab's tests.
