I googled it and it talks about it being a marker for "acute lyme disease?"

My son's c3adaf seems to be going UP with treatment. His bite was at least 18 months ago.

Had serious arthritis, all gone.
Currently on Valtrex
Daughter, 26,bullseye 7/11
arthritis in knees, cured and off all meds. .
Self:Lyme, bart, sxs gone, no longer treating.

I believe that Better health guy (scott) made notes on the ILADS confereance that one of the presenters said that the c3a is a autoimmune marker.

My c3a was elevated a couple of years ago and i just got blood drawn today to have it tested again

Maybe Scott will add to the post.
