But the only gadget I've tried personally is a 'grounding mat' that I sit on while driving. I can't really say it's helped my symptoms though, since it turned out it wasn't the car's field that was bothering me, but rather, the cell phone towers and various antennas I was driving past...wifi, too.
Just don't make the mistake of thinking your cell phone is the only thing you have to worry about. Yea, my ex-husband, a heavy cell phone user, developed a brain tumor on the right side of his head - the side he'd hold his cell phone against. But the towers and antennas are also an issue. Read B. Blake Levitt's 'Cell Towers - Wireless Convenience? or Environmental Hazard?'
Also, keep in mind that using a cordless phone is like having a mini cell phone tower in your home. The base of the phone transmits periodically just like a full-size tower.

Instead of the thing on the cell phone, I just try to always use my earpiece. And don't use the Bluetooth earpiece, those are still bad (give off EMF's).
Also, I try not to carry my phone close to my body. I always try to keep it a distance away from me. And I just have a "normal" cell phone. If I had an iphone or a Blackberry, or some other smart phone, I'd keep it even further, because those phones can be "communicating" with towers even when they are just sitting there. But so can all phones, I believe. But the smartphones, moreso.
In general, I just try to avoid EMF's, instead of shielding myself from them. I turn off my wireless internet in my house at night. Before I rented this place, I went to www.antennasearch.com, to see if any major cell towers were within about 400 meters of me. You wanna avoid things that say Verizon, etc on the name of who owns the tower. When you click the specific tower, it'll show you who owns it, and what the frequency is (mHz). If the frequency is high, or it's owned by a cell company, that's bad. If the frequency is lower, I wouldn't worry as much, especially if it's something minor like a local plumbing company, that just has some kind of dinky communication antenna...though who knows.
I try to avoid those high frequencies, especially since I hope to be pregnant sometime in the future, and am not sure when I'll move, and I don't want the fetus exposed to those kinds of frequencies.

I just bought a house grounder from earthcalm.com and also a grounder for our wireless router and my daughter's cell phone. I dont know if it has helped yet but when I first plugged in the house grounder I felt a little dizzy the whole day but now I feel fine. My daughter has lyme, bartonella and whatever else the horrible ticks gave her,and one of her doctors mentioned this might help her recover faster,
