Thats what I thought at first but it is the only thing that ever helped w/my headpressure.
I have been treating almost 2 years and I think high dose amoxy is the first thing that has actually helped even a bit.
Pamela Weintraub (Cure Unknown) also spoke of high dose amoxy as being the thing that saved her.

I agree, that's a low amoxy dosage. I took 2500 mg three times per day for a total of 7500 mg.!! I also took the probenecid to keep the amoxy working longer.
I had a peak level blood test done to see if I had the right dosage, and my dosage was raised to this.

My husband is currently taking Amoxicillin with Doryx (a form of doxicycline ), and (knock wood) it's helping with his head/neck/spine symptoms.
The first month of Amoxi was at a high dose (near sixgoofykids') to load up his system. The pharmacist even called LLMD's office to check that the dose was correct! This did help; we found that detoxing was especially important with a high dose like this.
He's now on a lower dose, but is also taking a host of pharmas and supplements.
He has been on Mino in the past, including a recent attempt at the Amoxi plus Mino. If you can tolerate the Mino, it can be a great drug for CNS symptoms. His experience in the past was that it caused dizziness for about 3 weeks, which then faded. This time around, the dizziness was too severe for him to tolerate, hence the switch to Doryx.
Hop this helps. Viva
