It occurs to me that I've been on this med for quite some time - for arthritis. It's an anti-inflammatory and helps joint pain. Would it cause false-negative on Lyme tests? thanks, misty -------------------- 12yo Daughter w/severe anxiety, fatigue, dizziness, BPII - IGM 41+, 23+ and IGG 66+, 41+ Self - Undiagnosed - have peripheral neuropathy, hearing loss, facial tics, fatigue and a MRI w/lots of lesions.

No, I don't think so. The WB measures antibody responses. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!

Lymetoo, see your recent post here:http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/100546 You gave a list of things that can cause a negative lyme test. #13 says that recent use of anti-inflammatories can cause a false negative lyme test. Celebrex is an anti-inflammatory.
