I am taking LDN. Started at 1.5mg, then 3 mg., and now up to 4.5mg. I think it helps.
My LLMD gave it to me to help boost the immune system, which is common with lyme and co-infections.
I read your other post; my NK cells are also low. I do not catch a lot of stuff, but did go through a period where I caught the same cold every month, three times in a row.

If you have activated/reactivated CMV, EBV, HHV-6 and coxsackie, you definitely can benefit from a immune boost! My HHV6 IgG is 80 some, normal is like <20. I wonder if that's pulling me down.
so the LDN might help but the effect is not startling enough to be sure that it does?

My doc gave it to me at the very beginning because I was mentioned I was a bit nervous about the herxing. It lowers the cytokine load and supposedly helps reduce symptoms in addition to boosting your immune system.

I take it and I know it helps me. I'm on 3 mg, which is what my capsules come in. It helps me sleep, and it seems to help my mood and my energy level during the day.
Not on abx right now, just herbs, but I seem to be doing better; don't know if it's because of the herbs or the ldn or the combo.
