So...I'm stalled at 90-95% and have a few remaining symptoms left. I think they are mainly Bart related.
To help clear things quickly, support my liver, and maintain overall health, I decided to try accupuncture.
There is a guy local to me who is "fairly" lyme literate. He mainly knows the "mainstream" treatments, but prefers alternative. He knows a lot about how lyme works / attacks various parts of the body.
His daughter came down with lyme 3 years ago and had a terrible time. She had the classic symptom of a swollen knee with some other symptoms. Was on antibiotics for 2 months and got 75% there.
So, he then started treating her with traditional Chinese medicine. Tried some herbs, which helped, but didn't fix. Then he used some sort of herbal, Chinese plaster / poultice that had some sort of herbs in it. He said they put in on her daughter's knee at bedtime. The next morning her knee was 100% normal! I guess his daughter said she had to get up to pee about 5 times in the middle of the night (she usually never goes at night), so it was obvious that she was detoxing something.
Anyway..it has been 3 years and she is still fine. 100%.
He thinks he can help clear my remaining symptoms (with my traditional abx treatment that I"m on) and also support my liver and GI tract. He took a look at my tongue and stated that my tongue indicates I've had GI issues for a long time.
Felt pretty good today. Figure it can't hurt and several thousand years of Chinese medicine can't be wrong.

Moxibustion is also great......increasing the white blood cell count thus making the immune system stronger to fight the infection.
I agree, over a thousand years ago they were curing diseases without drugs.
