Hi all

I have seen my LLMD for the first time last thursday. He tought we should go after bartonella first as I have a lot of muscular pain, fasciculations and nerve issues... he prescribed Minocyclin, Rifampin, Plaquenil and nystatin... So I have been taking this for six days and still NO reaction! no herx, nor better, just the usual me... Now I am wondering what this all means. My main issues reside in my nerves. I have a lot of nerve pain, cranial nerves all affected and all of the others down to my toes... I guess this is more lyme than bart? or maybe I am just not reacting to the meds? When should I start panicking? Although I already am, I am in such pain day and night, this just doesn't make any sense and I need to find a relief... I just don't know what to add to reach whatever is hiding in my nerves... Thank you very much, I feel pretty desperate, I have been sick for two years but probably have had that more ten years or more I guess... How do i kill the spirochetes hiding in my nerves? My god, i feel so stupid and hopeless... Thank you so much.

I know people here talk nonstop about herxing---but the phenomenon is actually attributed to spirochetes. Bartonella is not a spirochete and you should not expect to herx when treating a nonspirochetal illness.
