Only high toxoplasmosis IGG and no IGM titers- need help

I have Toxoplasma IGG 280 instead of below 15.

Is it like cpn or bart where an persistend Infection only produces IGG antibodies?

Or is a positive IGM neccesary for a persistent infection in toxoplasmosis?

Have your doctor talk with this lab (they do not accept calls from patients).

http://www.pamf.org/serology/

Your blood may need to be tested at this lab to know if you have an infection or not. I would pursue this area with your doctor and not ignore that antibody titer.

I can't specifically answer your question on toxoplasmosis IGG and IGM.

I was positive on whole blood PCR test for toxoplasmosis and was treated with Daraprim and Zithromax, along with Folinic acid.

Toxo is a parasite/protozoa like babesia. You may want to consider treating, and see how you feel. If you don't feel any benefit, then you can assume it is not persistent.
