Hard to describe.. You know the palm lines in your hand that run parallel with each other; not the big lines that are indents of your palm folding, but the lines that make up your fingerprints?

Those disappeared from my hand for a while, and now that they are coming back, I would really like to know what area of the body controls that. Essentially understanding what's coming back online. [Smile]

Adrenals or Thyroid?

Hi Wolfed Out,

The lines in our hands change with the state of our health and emotions. They can grow deeper or less noticeable, change direction, branch out, and grow or shrink in length, depending on what's going on with us.

Palmistry/palm reading is very complex and accurate in the hands of a skilled reader, a direct reflection of the state of our health, spirituality, and emotions and where we are headed.

From my own personal experience, I believe that the lines are connected to the small and large intestines.

My finger tips are wrinkled. It looks sort of like when your fingers are in water too long and they get pruney looking. I've read somewhere that this is caused by collagen damage under the fingerprint area and/or hypothyroid activity.

Great stuff, guys!

Gael, that makes a lot of sense. I first started to notice the my wrinkled fingers disappearing when I started pounding BioPure Freeze-Dried Garlic a couple weeks ago.

Could be coincidence, or it could be that my high doses of Garlic are paying dividends. Just got another bottle to crush.

I'm gonna do this for at least 1 week, and see what happens since their has been discussion of missing doses and pounding more. [Smile]

Hmm, i dunno about this one. I guess some of you have read more into this than i have.

Something tells me you're looking way to closely at things. The human body is complex, sometimes things happen and it's doesn't mean anything. Just something to consider.

The loss of fingerprints was a phenomenon observed in the study of so-called "CFS" ("Chronic Fatigue Syndrome") patients in the 80s. Their hands would sometimes go completely smooth - no fingerprints at all - some just had partial smoothing, if I recall correctly.

I don't know if there was any follow-up on this symptom in relation to CFS or related conditions.

It is covered to a degree in "Osler's Web" by Hillary Johnson (a great book that anyone with Lyme, Fibromyalgia, CFS, MS, ALS, and similar types of diagnoses should read).

Collagen? Lyme can really attack collagen all throughout the body.

3030,

With respect, you seem to have a pessimistic view regarding almost every subject on this forum; or see things as quackery.

Your skin is the largest organ on the body. It can tell you a lot about your health, and was one of many things that declined during my infection (i.e. loss of hair, dry skin, rashes, moles, dark circles in corners of the eye).

I think it's best to keep an open mind about anything you feel isn't healthy, and what's happening that improves the condition. For example, the health of your fingernails can be clear indicators of infections.

nenet has offered some information into this study, and is a much more helpful response for finding answers to our individual problems. I'm not saying I agree with every idea that pops up on this forum, but if I notice something that seems healthier, than I think it's best to share and discuss with others to find our similarities.

Keebler, could be? I have been on a Lyme treatment for many many months, but didn't notice this improve until recently. Maybe coincidence, but I happened to be taking larges doses of Garlic.

And, you know Garlic is a potent and potentially effective weapon against Lyme.
