I am fairly new to all this. My husband was treated for Lyme and was on antibiotics for 9 weeks. Reading some of the posts out there I know there is co-infections. But what are they? What do they do? We are on a waiting list for a LLMD and I want to be very prepared for the visit whenever that is. Checking for these co-infections, is it just blood tests or is there something more. Any help would be very appreciated.

I don't want to overwhelm you. The link above has a ton of GREAT info. I suggest starting there. And good luck with your appointment!
