I had this early on in my treatment, just nausea that is always there but I never really throw up until i force myself. But I also seem to have heightened anxiety during these times. I cannot figure out what is causing this as I have now had it again for a week straight. I also have epstein Barr infection that seems to really be flaring for the last few weeks. Is this a herx reaction of some type? Can you be constantly nauseated? Is it from the EBV? Something more serious? Any discussion I would be happy with. I am using ginger tablets but they only help for a short time. Thank you all and God Bless

I am also on a combo of biaxin and clindamax. so I'm told it COULD be Biaxin however the first few weeks I took biaxin without a real problem of nausea. So who knows. Such a weird thing.

I was nauseated 24/7 for the last 3 months before I was diagnosed with lyme disease. I lost weight because of this. Sometimes, even looking at food made me get really, really nauseated and I would have to leave the room.

Treatment cleared up this symptom.

Turns out I had lyme, babs, and bart. I didn't have EBV.

Burrascano names nausea and anxiety both in his list of symptoms, pages 9-10 of the Guidelines.

So, I am never surprised to hear that a lyme patient is continually nauseated. I remember it well.

treatment since 2008 cleared it up for me as well.... but for the last week its like the same old thing. Had EBV flare up again in late september. For last 2 weeks been getting EBV headaches/neck aches. So wondering if nausea is related to the Lyme, the EBV, or the Biaxin. Its been almost constant for just the last week since last saturday. When something is causing it and you cant figure out what I start to worry its something serious.

I have to say: I don't know that it can be just tied to the Biaxin and that is the case. This is because I did not take my Biaxin or antibiotics for a day on Friday just to see what would happen and the nausea remained--unless left over traces of taking the medication can cause nausea

Been on Doxy for 2 months for undiagnosed Lyme. I'm nauseas so much of the time. Then when I take the probiotics I get stomach pains and feel even worse. I've been to about 5 different doctors to rule out everything else. I have a dislocated hip on one side which never caused me any problems my whole life. It's very hard to convince these doctors that there's something else wrong with me since I already walk with a limp. But the MRI showed no pinched nerves, no back or leg problems other than the hip, ultrasound, blood tests, x-rays...EVERYTHING says that I'm "normal!" But I can't walk right, feel like I have cerebral palsy at times, have tinitus, nausea, memory loss, tremors, vasculitis, terrible pain in right leg (my good leg!) and so many other symptoms. The earliest appt. I could get with an LLMD is in Feb. I'm afraid that my neurologist won't continue my meds
because he's not convinced I have Lyme.
I feel for you all who have this horrible disease.

Also does anyone know about pulsing? I heard that some people take antibiotics for a week or something and then take a break to allow the spirochetes to come out, then you zap them with more meds. The only thing is I don't know what kind of pattern you'd do...like 2 weeks on, 1 off or something?
Thanks in advance for any info.
