I am fairly certain I have Chronic Lyme as are many people I have chatted with and met. However, my appt with the LLMD is not until Jan 3rd and I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help with the symptoms.
Here is the quick version: My periodontist put me on an aggressive round of antibiotics to prepare for a dental procedure and I had a horrible reaction which I now believe was due to me herxing (I was incredibly sick and on the worst days, I couldn't even get out of bed). By the time I saw my rheumatologist, I was having a fairly good day and she said I'd likely gotten "a bug in joints." She gave me Minocycline to add with my other arthritis meds "to round things out." Though I have had some good days, I am nowhere close to being well. It is like the antibiotics awakened something that was dormant. I haven't felt this bad in several years and it's worse than any arthritis flare-up I have experienced and goes beyond just pain. Exhaustion, muscle/joint pain (sometimes even my skin hurts), brain fog, confusion, anxiety/panic attacks and a ton of other things depending on the day (or sometimes the hour!).
Is there anything I can do to relieve some of the symptoms until I see the the LLMD and treatment starts?

Relieving symptoms can be difficult and trivial. You can start by drinking lemon water (lots of lemons). Also drink green tea and take green tea extract. You can go to the pharmacy store and pick up hydrogen peroxide and epsom salt to use in a bath. This should help the herx, and if not, relax you a bit.
Relieving panic attacks can be difficult. Drugs Xanax and Ativan can work, but they are physically addictive.
If you have a health food store, I find Kava (may take a couple more pills than bottle recommends) to be helpful for the anxiety/panic. Others like valerian or chamomile, or a calming supplenent containing valerian, chamomile, and many others.
You can also get stress relief teas containing herbs like valerian, chamomile, and kava.
I hope you aren't on steroids. If so, those need to be weened as it sounds like you are most likely dealing with an infection.
