I've had a headache off and on all day, and I was just rubbing my temples.
I realized there is a very small lump in my right temple. It's big enough to feel, but not even pea-sized.
Anyone know what this might be? Are there lymph nodes or someting near your temples?
Of course I'm trying not to think about all the horrible things this could be. I go to see the chiropractor in about an hour, so I'll run it by her.

Hard to tell what can be some people with lyme have higher incidence of fibrocysts in the body. Some may have reaction of the body to isolate microbes floating in our body especially in lymph circulation and lymph nodes. The other thing that is very frequent with lyme is lipomas accumulation of the lipids in the body . Take it easy lumps on the skin are ore lipid accumulation or cysts. Post what your chiropractor things about lump.

Just wants me to keep an eye on it to see if it gets any bigger or maybe if it goes away.
Thinking back, I can remember several years ago having similar lumps around my ankle area. They have since gone away.
Like I need something else to worry about.

Probably a benign cyst. Sometimes a simple surgery is used to remove it. Othertimes, a smaller one will eventually dissolve away on it's own. I'd have your MD or RN check it out, though.
I had a small lima-bean-sized one on my fore-head, near the hairline, when I was 23. Less than $200 to pop it out at the hospital back in 1980. Doc said to skip the biopsy. They did, but charged me anyway! (I called in the correction.)
< $200! THOSE were the days, huh??

Boy, did I have the weird headache this morning! It felt like my whole eye socket hurt. First time I can remember that kind of headache.
