I decided to treat Bart first with Rifampin & Zithro. The fatigue and brain fog are overwhelming. Are these typical herx symptoms? I know dizziness/drowziness are common drug side effects but...This is hard to handle. Does anyone have experience with these drugs? How long did it take for some symptoms to start lifting? I just finished week 2. Thanks...

My son was on that combo. He was fatigued and had brain fog before he started and yes, it got worse. Chalk it up to the price to pay for getting better!
Are you taking the required supplements in the ILADS guidelines?
Epsom salt + Hydrogen peroxide baths at body temperature or slightly above. Anything above 100 degrees made my son feel sicker.
I wish I could say one thing helped... it's a long road. If you can exercise, even if it's just walking or light stretching... I think this is the key. You can only do what you are able.
I pray you get better!

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began. Posts: 2007 | From NY/VT Border | Registered: Aug 2010
